The Dear Pine of Mine socks are knitted in stranded knitting on five double-pointed needles from the cuff down. The pattern incorporates a reinforced Dutch heel and a round toe. When choosing the colors, it is essential to make sure that Color A is darker than the other colors and there is enough contrast between them to make the design stand out. The socks are knitted with two colors per row and the white bits on the foxes are worked in dublicate stitch at the end.
