KUKKALEHTO SOCKS
Hi! And welcome to knit the first flowers of beautiful spring! Kukkalehto is a Finnish word which means ’Grove of Flowers’. With the Kukkalehto Socks you can dive in the middle of a bright forest, where the soft ground is covered with the first bloom of white anemones. The spring sunlight filters enchantingly through the trees and you can almost stop time for a moment to sense the sounds, smells and magic of the blooming forest.
The 9-pages long PDF-pattern includes good charts and written instructions for the 2 different leg length and for adjustable foot size:
Foot size: EU 37, 38–39, 40–41, 42
Sock measurements: Longer leg length (including the cuff and the heel) is 27 cm, shorter leg length is about 18 cm. Foot length in size 38–39 is 24,5 cm.
Needles: 3 mm / US 2,5 (5 double-pointed needles) + a darning needle for duplicate stitching
Yarn: 260 m / 100 g, Lankava Mainio
Colors: Need for yarn has been calculated from the socks that are knitted with a longer version of the leg and in size 38–39:
Color 1: 651 Snow 68 g
Color 2: 662 Pistachio 15 g
Color 3: 660 Pesto 45 g
Color 4: 664 Dandelion 4 g
Gauge: 27 stitches and 29 rows in stranded knitting = 10 x 10 cm
